Lehi Hennefer was the son of James Henefer and Sarah Hulks. He was their first child, born 5 July 1847, Staffordshire, Eng. He came to Utah with his family in 1853.
Lehi married Margaret Bond on 15 January 15 1868. Margaret was the daughter of William Bond and Mary Ann Barker . She was born on 5 July 1847 in Cheetham Hill, Lancashire, England. They had six children together: Margaret Ann, Sarah Jane, May Emma, Lehi Alma, Hannah B., and James William.

Lehi married Mary Ann Randall on 6 January 1881 after the death of Margaret on 21 February 1879. They had six children: Heber C., Mary May b., Theodore b., Irvin b., and Marcus b.
Lehi was an Elder, School trustee, and constable. He drove an oxteam across the plains in 1867. He helped to build roads and bridges in Henefer and was a member of the Canal board. Lehi was a farmer.

Suddenly at Hennefer, Summit County, February 21, 1879, MARGARET HENNEFER, wife of Lehi Hennefer, and daughter of William and Mary Ann Bond, aged 31 years, and 7 months.
Deceased was born at Cheetham Hill near Manchester, Lancashire, England. She was a faithful Latter-day Saint, was loved by her friends, and well respected by all who knew her; she leaves a husband and six small children with a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.
